Casper Screens uses powder-coated aluminum for all the frame parts. This includes the housing for the mesh screen as well as the top track, bottom track, and side profile. We chose aluminum for our retractable screen doors because it is the strongest material we can use for this application. We use spray powder coating on the aluminum parts to make sure that our retractable screens for doors have the highest-quality finish.
The mesh screen for Casper screen doors is a fiberglass mesh with nylon coating. This type of mesh screen is stronger and more durable than mesh screens that are made of aluminum, polyester, or stainless steel.
